The president of Castanet Inc. Chikara Ueki  in his blog reveals details of a “whispered conversation he had with the president of another company that deals with the processing and sale of raw materials. While he claims that the words, “there is a crisis, we are not making a penny” are the first ones people say nowadays when they meet each other, there are actually some who are making money from this unsteady economic situation.  if you want to find out more go here.

The Wave 9-12

12 03 2009

hello, peoples around the world the wave is water rippling in the water, a group of people waving their arms up and down and a book and i am talking about the book. I just read chapters 9 – 12 which was awesome. I hope you all know by now that the wave is a history experiment that goes totally wrong. In these chapters Ben Ross is starting to feel all high and mighty  with the power that he is getting from leading the wave and at first nothing is wrong with that. But when Laurie finds a note under her door of the grapevine office saying that two seniors tried bullying students to join Laurie’s  uneasy felling gets worse. when she notices a fight going on in the court yard and one of then was chanting strength through discipline strength through community and strength through action the wave motto. After a little talk with her boyfriend David he ends up breaking up with her. I got one more wave post to put up so read that on to.

5 – 8 The wave

9 03 2009

Hi, people across the world you remember 1-4 the wave and how it’s a school project well this is chapter 5-8. In these chapters it’sat the building of the story. It’s when the group called wave really start. The teacher Mr.Ross started to tell the students like power through disipline and community as well as action for their is possible without action. all the students get all hyped up and they get these membership cards some students got red X’x on their to sat they where moniters for the group. Larie the many character tells her parents  about the wave and how it’s tis great thing on how the class isn’t bullying anybody anymore and how i’s just great Laries dad is all for it if the kids are listining but Laries mom says it’s to military. I really think it was intreasting to read about how the wave started and how everyone thinks it’s this great thing.  Everyone loves and it is really intresting on how the characters are reacting to this. It just can’t stop you from trying to figure out what’s going to happen and if any one is going to rebell agast the wave. Anyway if you start to read it keep on going it will get way better.

Moving Power

9 03 2009

Hi, the walking power plant is the newest portable power source made by The Japanese telecom.

NTT Docomo is trying to make shoes that generate power. They already have the prototypes making enough energy to play a Walkman or an I-pod. They are trying to get it to make enough energy to power a cell phone but they haven’t at the current time. The shoes have water filled soles and attached to that is an electric generator. It’s only able to make 1.2 watts of energy. Docomo intends to release a commercial of it by 2010. If you want to learn more click here.

I think this might help out with global warming if the power is made by you when you walk.

And if anyone finds out the population in the last five years. Thanks for reading.

Japan Smart Set

2 03 2009

My class is doing a smart set project where we are trying to metaphorically build a building in a country of our chose I chose Tokyo Japan because of the large population and the stereotype of Japanese people being workaholics. So far I have some of the cost for stuff and I’m working on one of my graphs to show the prices of plane tickets a decent apartment and the population. We also have to have some multimedia, links and pictures stuff like that.

1-4 the wave

2 03 2009

My class is reading a book called the wave and this is the first 1-4 chapters summary. two of the main characters is a history teacher who is trying to teach his students of Adolph Hitler  and the Nazi the other main character is the editor in chief of the school paper the grapevine.  Their is also her boyfriend a smart football player, her best friend that can cheer her up and a student that has an older brother that has a long shadow over him. the chapters where about a film in the teachers class that every body was horrified. after lunch two of the students the girl and her went to the grapevine   while their teacher went to the library to get the answers his student where asking him. my thoughts of this book are quite interesting because in the book the teacher also gets carried away with studies because he likes the knowledge and the thought of him going to far will be really interesting and the thought of how this would affectthe student would be both funny and horrifying.
